System architecture

A large space architecture that has perfected cost performance and rationality at a high level!

"System architecture" refers to industrialized building products that enhance production efficiency by standardizing the components and arrangements that make up a building, thereby systematizing the architectural production process. The goals of system architecture are low cost, high quality, and short construction periods. These objectives are achieved by improving production efficiency through the standardization of the details and arrangement of each component that constitutes the building, as well as the architectural production process. Kobayashi Industry adopts this system architecture for the construction of factories, warehouses, stores, sports facilities, and more, responding to the requests of our clients. [Features] ■ Thorough standardization and homogenization through factory production ■ High-level balance of cost performance and quality ■ Fits the need for large spaces at low prices *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] System Architecture Logistics Center (Chiba Prefecture)

Introducing a case study of a logistics center constructed using ALC for the exterior wall material!

We will introduce a case study of "system construction," which allows for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the purpose and size of factories and warehouses, as well as regional environmental factors, achieving short construction periods and low costs. The logistics center located in Chiba Prefecture is adjacent to an existing warehouse that we constructed three years ago. It is a three-story building with a length of 59.3m and a width of 32.9m. The exterior wall material used is ALC, and the steel frame construction was carried out at our Tochigi factory. It primarily handles fertilizers and synthetic resins, and all internal areas are equipped with loading skids. 【Construction Case Study】 ■ Completion Date: March 2007 (Heisei 19) ■ Location: Chiba Prefecture ■ Total Floor Area (for both buildings): 11,699m2 (3,540 tsubo) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] System Building Wood Precut Factory (Ibaraki Prefecture)

Adopting a truss structure to create a spacious large space! Case study of a wooden prefabrication factory.

We will introduce examples of "system construction" that allow for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the purpose and size of factories and warehouses, as well as regional environments, achieving short construction periods and low costs. In a wood precutting factory located in Ibaraki Prefecture, a truss structure was adopted for the roof framework, creating a spacious large space with a span of 90 meters in the gable direction and only one middle column (54m + 36m). This design offers high layout flexibility and has been well received by clients. The steel frame features a vibrant red color for the columns and a refreshing blue color (the image color of Polatech) for the beams. Combined with the simple truss structure, it results in a bright and light image. 【Construction Example】 ■ Completion Date: July 2005 (Heisei 17) ■ Location: Ibaraki Prefecture ■ Total Floor Area: 26,550.0 m² (8,031 tsubo) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

System Architecture "NISSEI VSPAN-S"

A system construction that adopts the new technology "diagonal end plate."

The "NISSEI VSPAN-S" is a system construction that adopts a "diagonal end plate" and has obtained structural evaluation to prove its safety and reliability. The welded lightweight H-shaped steel used in the main frame is manufactured from hot-rolled coils through high-frequency welding, resulting in high dimensional accuracy and ease of processing. Additionally, by adopting the "diagonal end plate connection" with the end plates arranged diagonally, local reinforcement of the columns becomes unnecessary, allowing for a reduction in the number of high-strength bolts. This enables the achievement of sufficient strength and rigidity that surpasses conventional methods while minimizing the number of components. 【Features】 ■ Column-free spans creating large spaces, up to 40.0m ■ Rationalization of manufacturing and construction through high quality and new technology ■ Realization of shortened construction periods *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.

System construction with case studies

We achieve low cost, short construction period, and high quality through rational structural design of steel frame components and others.

We would like to introduce Nagawa Corporation's "System Architecture." At our dedicated factory for system architecture in Japan, we handle everything from material procurement to design, processing, and logistics in a consistent manner. By ordering materials in bulk and maintaining a constant stock, we can offer short processing times, mitigate price fluctuation risks, and provide scale advantages. We achieve short delivery times and low prices through thorough standardization of components. Unlike prefabricated buildings that are constructed by combining standardized components, our process is systematized, encompassing everything from sales to design, component manufacturing, and construction. We maintain design flexibility while balancing economy and quality. Additionally, based on customer requests, the shape and dimensions of the building are input into a computer, which then directs the production line, allowing for a flexible, custom-made construction method. 【Benefits】 ■ A confident product lineup ■ Economic & high quality ■ Flexible response *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

What is system architecture?

Introducing in detail the features of Kawada Industries' system construction developed for Japan!

Our system construction allows for the selection of suitable roofs, walls, and structures based on the intended use and size of factories and warehouses, as well as regional environmental factors. This enables us to achieve shorter construction periods and lower costs. Furthermore, our system buildings do not have intermediate columns. By combining wall materials (J. Wall, K. Wall) that boast self-supporting strength with "Z-shaped battens" that allow for overlapping joints, we have eliminated intermediate columns and reduced the weight of the steel framework, resulting in further cost reductions. In addition, the wall materials themselves possess sufficient strength to be self-supporting, eliminating the need for temporary scaffolding, among other various features. 【Features】 ■ Roofs, walls, and structures can be selected according to purpose and use ■ Cost reduction through reduced steel framework usage ■ Adoption of roofing and wall materials with exceptional durability ■ No need for temporary scaffolding *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

System Architecture "YESS Architecture"

A system construction that is low-cost yet has excellent insulation properties.

YESS (Yes) Architecture (Yokogawa Engineered Structure System) is a system construction that aims to achieve low cost, short construction period, and high quality, and has obtained ministerial certification. Our company has entered into a builder contract with Yokogawa System Architecture Co., Ltd. for YESS architecture (contract dated October 22, 1998). This construction method utilizes the bridge technology of Yokogawa Bridge Co., Ltd. and high-tensile steel to create column-free spaces of up to 60m x 120m in a single building. **Main Features Compared to Conventional Construction:** - The weight of the steel frame is 55-60% lighter → Low cost - The production efficiency of the steel frame has been reduced to about half → Short construction period - Due to a high proportion of factory-produced components, quality is stable, and on-site construction time is shortened → Short construction period and high quality *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
